The number 1 movie of 2021 in the month of August Edition is ‘Black Widow’.
Black Widow
It is a superhero film released in 2021 based on the Marvel Comics heroine of the same name. It is the 24th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, produced by Marvel Studios and released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures (MCU). Scarlett Johansson appears as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow with Florence Pugh, David Harbour, O-T Fagbenle, Olga Kurylenko, William Hurt, Ray Winstone, and Rachel Weisz in the film directed by Cate Shortland from a script by Eric Pearson. Romanoff is on the run following the events of Captain America: Civil War (2016), and she is forced to confront her past in this film. It is the number 1 movie as of August 2021.
In April 2004, Lionsgate Films announced that a Black Widow film was in the works, with David Hayter penning the screenplay and directing the film. The project was never completed, and by June 2006, Marvel Studios had acquired the character’s cinematic rights. Beginning with Iron Man 2 (2010), Johansson was cast in a number of MCU films, and she and Marvel began talking about a solo feature. Shortland was recruited in 2018 after work began in late 2017. Prior to Pearson’s hiring, the script was worked on by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson. Filming took place in Norway, Budapest, Morocco, Pinewood Studios in England, and Atlanta, Macon, and Rome, Georgia, between May and October of this year. After the long wait for the movie release, finally, the movie arrives in the theatres.
The synopsis of the film is as follows: When a sinister conspiracy with connections to her past surfaces, Natasha Romanoff, nicknamed Black Widow, must confront the darker aspects of her history. Natasha must deal with her past as a spy and the shattered relationships she left behind long before she became an Avenger, while she is pursued by a force that would stop at nothing to bring her down.
