Following the success of his most recent film, Prithviraj, Akshay Kumar is back in the news, this time for his forthcoming untitled film, which is a remake of Soorarai Pottru. According to a new update, Suriya will make a cameo appearance in the film, which is a remake of the Tamil drama that will be released in 2020.

Suriya played the lead part in Soorarai Pottru, and he is looking forward to his cameo in the Bollywood version. Suriya uploaded a photo with Akshay Kumar on Twitter, in which the South star looked dashing in his blue shirt and trousers, while Khiladi Kumar’s swag was unmatched as he stood in a black shirt. Suriya wrote in the caption, “@akshaykumar sir to see you as #VIR was nostalgic! @Sudha_Kongara can see our story beautifully coming alive again #Maara! Enjoyed every minute with team #SooraraiPottru Hindi in a brief cameo!”.
Soon after, Akshay Kumar resorted to social media to respond to Suriya with a touching message. He penned, “Thank you brother @actorsuriya. Loving every moment shooting for the retelling of an inspirational story like #SooraraiPottru. And being in Chennai is all love despite our strict captain @sudha_kongara!”.
