Music composer Devi Sri Prasad aka Rockstar DSP is having the busiest year ever with back to back projects up for release. However, the one film that everyone’s waiting for is ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, which brings DSP back with Allu Arjun and Sukumar, a trio that has never failed to create history! A look at DSP’s discography, and you’d know that the composer has a knack of creating music that resonates with people across the globe. In fact, the music of ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ was so popular that even international artists played it at their gigs. The songs even made their way to some popular music festivals! And for those who are unaware, DSP was bestowed with National Award for his music in the film, which is still revisited and celebrated.

With ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, fans expect DSP to go above and beyond, and the National Award win is one of the reasons for sure! As the film has become bigger with the sequel, fans are expecting for the music to be record-breaking as well. The first song ‘Pushpa Pushpa’, which was released recently, is already a blockbuster worldwide and it has set the mood for the whole album. Fans expressed that the song is beyond their expectations and vouched that the whole music as well BGM score will bring yet another National Award for the composer. While the craze for ‘Pushpa Pushpa’ song is enormous, it proves how DSP has been able to keep the anticipation around the sequel alive and going. Apart from the Allu Arjun-starrer, DSP’s 2024 musical lineup has Suriya’s ‘Kanguva’, Ram Charan’s next, tentatively titled ‘RC 17’, Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’, Ajith Kumar’s ‘Good Bad Ugly’, Dhanush’s ‘Kubera’, and Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Thandel’.
