As per the sources, Superstar Mahesh Babu has rejected the pan-India megaproject film ‘Ramayana’, which also stars Hrithik Roshan. Read below the complete details.
Recently, a month back, the buzz was created that Madhu Mantena is attempting to pull off an unexpected casting attempt. By bringing Mahesh Babu, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone together in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana 3D.
According to a close source, “Madhu and Nitesh are looking to shoot for Ramayana from mid-2022, and the dates coincide with the biggest filmmaker of India, SS Rajamouli’s next. It was an obvious choice for Mahesh to choose Rajamouli over the rendition of Ramayana.”
However, there are no official reports as such that the superstar Mahesh Babu has rejected to be a part of this megaproject Madhu’s offer. As Hrithik Roshan plays Raavan, Deepika Padukone will be playing Sita in this epic film. Not being sure about Mahesh Babu’s ‘Yes’. The makers will be hunting for another actor to play the onscreen role of Lord Ram.
Talking about the work front, SS Rajamouli’s next after RRR is an African jungle adventure with superstar Mahesh Babu, which KV Vijayendra Prasad will write. The film goes on floors tentatively next year. While before moving on to Ramayana, Hrithik Roshan will complete shooting for Vikram Vedha, Night Manager and Fighter. Deepika, too, has many movies before heading towards Ramayana, such as Pathan, Intern and Fighter with Hrithik.
