Actor Mandira Bedi’s husband, Raj Kaushal recently passed away due to cardiac arrest. The actress also performs his last rites. His last rites were held at Shivaji Park crematorium. The director is survived by his wife Mandira Bedi and their two children, son Vir and daughter Tara. A prayer meeting was also been held at Madira’s residence. The prayer was attended by Mandira’s parents and several other industry celebrities.
Mandira did not express her grief, but her Instagram account says it all. Recently, the actress took to her Instagram and deleted her profile picture as a tribute to her husband, Raj Kaushal. She turned her display picture black as a mark of the morning.
She was also being trolled by some netizens, as she performs the last rites. A role is traditionally taken up by male members of the family. Sona Mohapatra came in support of Mandira and wrote, “That some people are still commenting on Mandira Bedi’s dress code or choice to carry out her husband Raj Kushal’s last rites shouldn’t surprise us. Stupidity is more abundant than any other element in our world after all,”
