Sriram Raghavan’s forthcoming thriller Merry Christmas, which Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi began up in December 2021, has already commenced its second session. The couple are presently in the middle of a 45-day filming schedule, according to a recent storey in Mid-Day. The thriller is now being shot in Filmistan Studios in Goregaon, Mumbai, and is going well.
After taking a break for Holi, the cast and crew will resume filming today. According to a source on the set, the criminal thriller will focus on an ordinary day that flips Katrina and Vijay’s lives upside down.
Dishing out some more details about the ongoing shoot, a source said, “The edgy thriller is about an event that takes place on Christmas Eve. For the current stint, the makers have built the set of a house. Over the past few days, Vijay and Katrina have been shooting their portions in the bathroom — it sees them having a dramatic argument. While they took a day’s break on account of Holi, the team will resume work today. Both actors play characters with grey shades.”
The shoot is presently under progress, according to producer Ramesh Taurani. In response to a question about the movie’s chronology, he stated, “The second schedule will be completed in April, followed by the last leg in May and June. The entire film will be shot in Mumbai, both on set and on location.”
Well, I guess we can’t wait to see Katrina and Vijay onscreen together.
