Dia Mirza

At the moment, Dia Mirza is filming Dhak Dhak with Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanjana Sanghi.

One of the most well-liked stars in the business is Dia Mirza. She made her cinematic debut in 2001 with Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein and has since been in a number of well-known films, such as Parineeta, Thappad, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Deewaanapan, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, and Tumsa Nahin Dekha – A Love Story. The actress recently discussed her feelings on premarital sex and pregnancy in an interview.

Dia married businessman Vaibhav Rekhi in February 2021, and in April she made the baby news. She was questioned at the time regarding the date of her marriage in connection to her pregnancy, but the actress chose to disregard any inquiries. She then shared her opinions, stating that premarital sex and pregnancy are personal decisions. She revealed to ETimes: “I feel when it comes to personal choice and the power of personal choice, it can only be celebrated by those who ensure they make personal choices, not threatened, not afraid of making the choice that you need to as an individual.”

She continued by saying that while there may be a number of individuals who have outdated beliefs about issues like premarital sex, premarital pregnancy, or any other issue, there are also a sufficient number of individuals who understand that it is a personal decision and that individuals have the right to do it if they so choose.  “I don’t think we are as progressive as we imagine or as we consider ourselves to be,” Dia said.

In the meantime, Dia is now filming Dhak Dhak, an upcoming Taapsee Pannu production, with Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanjana Sanghi in the key roles. She also has the forthcoming social drama Bheed, directed by Anubhav Sinha and starring Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar.
