Shyam Ramsay and Tulsi Ramsay helmed Tahkhana, a Bollywood horror movie from 1986. This is a storey of two siblings who were switched at birth & their hunt for such a buried treasure protected by a ferocious creature inside a prison.
Ajit Singh wrote the songs for the film Tahkhana, whereas Amit Kumar, Anuradha Paudwal, and Sushma Shreshtha gave the vocals. Hemant Birje, Aarti Surendranath, as well as Kamran Rizvi played the major parts, with Aarti Surendranath, Puneet Issar Imtiaz Khan, Sheetal, Priti Sapru, Trilok Kapoor, Amarnath Chatterji, Huma Khan, Rajindernath, Shamsuddin, and many others rounding out the cast.
Thakur on his deathbed Surjeet Singh leaves his whole land to his son Raghuvir while rejecting their family’s black sheep, Dhurjan, who not only practises black magic. This last pledges to take his property by supernatural means, and perhaps even organises the kidnapping of Raghuvir’s daughters, Sapna as well as Aarti. Durban is apprehended, imprisoned inside a dungeon, while Aarti is rescued by Mangal with his soldiers.
They are still unable to identify Sapna, while Raghuvir is slain as a result. Before he dies, he tells Mangal that Sapna wears one among two pendant parts around her collar, while another is over Aarti’s, and when they’re put all together, they’ll disclose the whereabouts of a wealth hidden inside a dungeon.
