After participating in tvN’s mystery-thriller drama Mouse for around ten months, South Korean actor Lee Seung Gi will allegedly star in a new romantic drama.
According to the Korean newspaper Soompi, Lee Seung Gi will feature in the upcoming drama Love According to the Law, which will premiere on January 24. (literal title).
“Lee Seung Gi has received an offer to star in Love According to the Law, and he is positively analysing the offer,” a source from Lee Seung Gi’s agency Hook Entertainment said in reaction to the storey.
Love According to the Law is a law-romance drama based on a novel, according to the Korean tabloid Soompi. The drama is centred at a Legal Café, which is both a law practice as well as a café, and follows a landlord who has been a former prosecutor known as that of the “monster genius,” and a lawyer who is a former Miss Korea contestant.
Lee Eun Jin will helm the series, which will air in August alongside Jidam Media as co-producers. Lee Seung Gi’s first KBS drama since 2006’s Famous Chil Princesses will be Love According To Law. Master inside the House, Golf Battle: Birdie Buddies, and Sing Again 2 are among the shows in which the Mouse actor presently appears. He also appeared alongside five other people in Netflix’s original reality programme New World.
