Mumbai: Sherlyn Chopra arrived at the Property Cell of the Crime Branch to join the investigation into the porn film production case in which businessman Raj Kundra was detained.
Sherlyn Chopra came to the Mumbai Crime Branch’s property cell on Friday afternoon in connection with the case concerning the production of adult films in which Raj Kundra has been detained. The actress was arrested and questioned by the Crime Branch in connection with the production of adult videos. ANI tweeted photographs of the actress arriving at the Crime Branch office to address queries on Shilpa Shetty’s husband’s arrest.
ANI Twitter handle wrote, “Actress Sherlyn Chopra reached Crime Branch’s Property Cell office for joining investigation in connection with the porn film production case in which businessman Raj Kundra was arrested.” Sherlyn had been summoned by the Crime Branch for interrogation in the issue, it was disclosed on Friday morning. In the midst of it all, businessman Raj Kundra remains in judicial custody over a problem involving the creation of pornographic films. On July 19, he was apprehended.

Sherlyn Chopra took to her social media account a few days after Raj Kundra’s arrest to broadcast a video in which she claimed to be the first person to speak out about the porn film production case earlier this year. In the video, she claims to have provided a statement to the Mumbai cyber unit. Not only that, but later in March 2019, Sherlyn spoke to a site and accused Raj Kundra of abuse.
Raj Kundra had filed an appeal in the Bombay High Court against his arrest by Crime Branch officials. On August 10th, the Mumbai Sessions Court will hear his bail application. Shilpa recently broke her silence following his incarceration, releasing a lengthy statement in which she asked for seclusion from the public.
