As we all know that ‘Queen of Bollywood’, Deepika Padukone actively participates in campaign donations and also runs her own NGO as well. Read below to know about her recent donation of a whopping amount of Rs 10 Lakh.
Deepika Padukone, a Bollywood actress, is always willing to help out with a noble cause or a humanitarian project. In 2020, the actress played acid assault survivor Laxmi Agarwal in the Meghna Gulzar-directed film Chhapaak, which also featured numerous real-life acid attack victims. Bala Prajapati, 25, from Binor, Uttar Pradesh, is one of them, and he is suffering greatly from a life-threatening renal disease. Bala is presently undergoing treatment at Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital and requires a kidney transplant right away, which will cost roughly 16 lakhs.
Bala’s condition is worsening each day due to the inability of both her kidneys. The woman is in a severe state and is barely alive on dialysis. To assist Bala in receiving treatment, the Chhanv Foundation has launched a fundraising drive dubbed ‘Save Bala.’ The contributions have begun on the ‘Milap’ crowdsourcing portal. Deepika Padukone stepped forward with soon as she heard the news and joined forces with the organization. The actress has generously given Rs ten lakh to the ‘Save Bala’ campaign. Moreover, the Chhanv Foundation is requesting as much help as possible to raise the remaining funds needed for Bala to recover from his ordeal.
Deepika Padukone’s upcoming movie will indeed be 83, in which she will star alongside Ranveer Singh. An unnamed American movie, which itself is expected to become a cross-cultural love comedy and will be created by STXfilms, a part of Eros STX Global Company, and Temple Hill, was recently unveiled. We definitely look forward to seeing her in a new movie.
