MyGlamm, India’s fastest-growing direct-to-consumer beauty and personal care business, debuts its first-ever national television commercial with the message “Tell MyGlamm What You Want.” Bollywood Actress Shraddha Kapoor was recently recruited as a brand ambassador and investor is featured in the campaign.
MyGlamm has constructed a forum for women to share their beauty tales and wishlists throughout the years and has created products based on this information. MyGlamm aspires to create a beauty democracy by empowering customers to tell brands what they want, transforming the way women in India shop for cosmetics.
The campaign emphasises the necessity of involving women in the development of products that fulfil their individual aesthetic requirements. Shraddha Kapoor and an unknown listener have a private but amusing conversation about how they know what makes her glow and which lipstick suits her best, which draws the notice of her boyfriend, who inquires who she has been talking to, who is perhaps MyGlamm, in the film. Consumers can discuss their beauty needs with the brand at the end of the film. Through a playful play on MyGlamm being the finest listener for ladies, the TVC emphasises a very simple fact: ‘women like to be heard’.
This is a physical expression of the campaign’s central theme, “Tell MyGlamm What You Want.” MyGlamm’s product categories span beauty, skincare, and personal care, all of which are aesthetically featured in the film, underlining the little but significant signs that these items play in women’s daily lives.
The campaign depicts the MyGlamm woman as a mix of playful and spontaneous as well as articulate and calm, feminine and graceful as well as bold and confident.
