As per the latest reports, Bollywood actor John Abraham has acquired Hindi rights of Malayalam film ‘Nayattu’. While south superstar Allu Arjun acquires Telugu rights of the film.
The Malayalam film Nayattu, directed by Martin Prakkat and released in theatres in April of this year, will be remade in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Kunchacko Boban, Joju George, and Nimisha Sajayan played key roles in this thriller set in Kerala.
Martin Prakkat confirmed to an entertainment blog that actor/producer John Abraham has purchased the Hindi rights to the film. After Ayyappanum Koshiyum, this is the second Malayalam film that John has bought the rights to through his production company JA Entertainment. Actor Allu Arjun has purchased Telugu rights under the aegis of Geetha Arts, according to Prakkat. Meanwhile, Gautam Vasudev Menon will direct the Tamil remake.
However, an official announcement is yet to make about it.

Talking about the original Malayalam project, On April 8, 2021, the film Nayattu, which translates to “Hunt” in English, was released in theatres for the first time. Due to the epidemic, however, it only had a brief box office run and was released on Netflix a month later in May. The picture was well-received by critics and audiences alike.
Martin Prakkat directed and co-produced Nayattu, a political thriller film in the Malayalam language written by Shahi Kabir. Kunchako Boban, Joju George, and Nimisha Sajayan star in the key roles, with Jaffar Idukki, Anil Nedumangad, and Hakkim Shajahan providing assistance. The film is edited by Mahesh Narayanan and Rajesh Rajendran, with cinematography by Shyju Khalid.
