As we all know that Kabir Khan has directed the upcoming movie, ’83’. Due to the passing of former Cricketer Yashpal Sharma the director is sad and remembers him.
On Tuesday morning, Former Indian Cricketer Yashpal Sharma passed away due to cardiac arrest. The late cricketing legend was one of the main contributors in the Indian Cricket Team’s journey of winning the world cup of 1983 Under the captaincy of Kapil Dev against West Indies in England. After his sad demise, heartfelt tributes and condolences have been pouring in for this ace cricketer from every corner of the world. Filmmaker Kabir Khan came forward by remembering Yashpal and said he was quite excited to show him his upcoming film 83.
Reacting over cricketer’s sad demise Kabir Khan told that, “it’s really sad, terrible and shocking” and further quoted that, “They have all become family for us, as we have spent so much time with them. He was a very important contributor, and in fact there are two matches where without his contribution India would not have gone ahead.” Kabir concluded and told, “Actor Jatin Sarna has played him brilliantly, and it’s sad that we couldn’t show him that part. I always saw him as one of the fittest and a strong-looking man for his age. He was famous in the team for being someone who was strong, always eating almonds”
Few hours back, Superstar Ranveer Singh expressed his sadness by posting a monochrome picture of Yashpal Sharma. The picture is from early years when he used to play cricket Ranveer captioned the picture with a ‘Heartbroken’ Emoji.

Actor Jatin Sarna, who will be portraying Yashpal Sharma on screen penned down a heartfelt note which expressed his sadness over cricketing legend’s demise. He posted a picture from his meeting with the legend and wrote, “This is not done sir, no not fair and god you too not fair. Yashpal sir can’t believe, you can not leave so soon abhi toh paari baaki thi, Abhi toh mulakaat baaki thi aapke ghar aana tha milne mujhe, Saath mai film dekhni thi aapke, aapke expression dekhne thae..
