The Punjab Police removed the security of 424 persons, including Punjabi artist Sidhu Moose Wala, the day before this terrible and shocking tragedy. This action was conducted as part of the Bhagwant Mann administration’s effort to combat VIP culture.

Kapil Sharma turned to Twitter to express his displeasure with the situation, writing, “Dil da ni mada…” with a heartbroken emoji.

Former ministers Manpreet Singh Badal, Raj Kumar Verka, Bharat Bhushan Ashu, and former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi’s family were among those who lost their security protection.
