In a recent interview, Neil Nitin Mukesh discussed how Bollywood directors don’t produce innovative stuff.
One of the well-known actors in Bollywood is Neil Nitin Mukesh. He has carved out a reputation for himself in the industry and has been in several films. The New York actor recently discussed how many Bollywood movies these days are basically remakes and not unique material in an interview. He also chastised Bollywood authors and filmmakers for always “remaking films” rather than concentrating on “unique ideas and content.”
There are many different sub-genres of thrillers, such as psychological thrillers, political thrillers, horror thrillers, and so on, according to Neil Nitin Mukesh in an interview with Times Of India. Why isn’t anyone looking into those, the actor questioned? “We are still remaking films instead of coming up with original ideas and content. In Bollywood, we have original ideas, but I feel that we prefer to play it safe,” said Neil.
The Prem Ratan Dhan Payo actor also discussed how an actor’s value is only judged by financial success and how he attempts to create a balance by acting in a variety of movies.
According to Neil Nitin Mukesh, an actor’s reputation is mostly based on his ability to make money. He went on to say, “While I love being a part of a film like Jail, I will also do entertainers like Players and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.”
In the meantime, speaking of his impending releases, they include the Ankush Bhatt movie Firrkie, which has been postponed and also stars Jackie Shroff, Kay Kay Menon, and others.
